The high street has a genuine town feel rather than a transient commuter atmosphere, and many families have deep roots here. But the pressures of modern life don’t respect town boundaries. The people I see from Billericay are dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, the weight of difficult early experiences, and the quiet exhaustion of holding everything together while something inside feels increasingly fragile.
I don’t have a therapy room in Billericay, but Chelmsford is a short drive (approximately 15-20 minutes via the A12/A130) or a train work from Billericay station. Many clients make the trip for in-person sessions without difficulty, and I offer appointments through to 8pm on weekdays to accommodate commuting and family schedules. Online and telephone sessions are also available and can be an excellent option if travel isn’t practical or if you simply prefer the convenience of working from your own space.
The therapy I provide is Integrative Humanistic Psychotherapy, an approach that prioritises the therapeutic relationship over techniques, depth over speed, and working with roots rather than just managing symptoms.
